Connected Apps and Credentials

Connected apps and credentials are the bridge between Nawfe and the systems your workflows depend on.

Connected Apps

Use connected apps when a workflow needs to work with an external platform or capability managed at the workspace level.

Examples of why this matters:

  • workflows need shared integration access
  • templates depend on a connected app being available
  • admins need to standardize how integrations are installed

Credentials

Credentials need care because they affect reliability and security at the same time.

Good credential management means:

  • clear ownership
  • clear naming
  • minimal access needed for the use case
  • regular review

Audit Logs

Audit visibility matters when the workspace needs compliance, traceability, or clear history.

Use audit logs to answer:

  • who changed something
  • when it changed
  • what record or area was affected
  • what outcome the action had

Admin guidance

  • Do not create duplicate credentials casually.
  • Use meaningful names that reveal purpose without exposing secrets.
  • Review missing dependencies before adopting templates that rely on apps.
  • Treat credential cleanup as ongoing maintenance, not one-time setup.
